172 CUP
Hi guys, this is my first post on here but I have been a regular forum reader for several years owning a 182 before getting an ep3 and then making the inevitable return to Clio sports with a 172 cup. I will do a project thread sometime in the future but for the moment I'm having trouble with a rear calliper that at first my mechanic thought had seized as it wasn't sliding and was binding. After some digging turns out the calliper is operating fine and sliding fine once the slider bolts are loosened or infact one is left tight and the other loosened off. The calliper slides fine when both bolts are finger tight but as soon as they are notched up the calliper gradually becomes harder and harder to slide. My mechanic tried the basics of greasing and cleaning up the bolts etc but with no success. I couldn't fine anything similar on a search so before I book it in at a specialist I thought id ask on here.
