Rear clusters

right then i have some after market clusters on my car in the deep black like the ones on the v6 but i have standard bulb bracket holders that dont quiet fit the back casing of the cluster if you understand this so far?
Next thing is when i press on the brake pedal one brake light plus the spoiler brake light will come on then on one cluster alone the fog light will also so light up.
Anyone got a damm clue on how i can fix this problem? Is it the wiring? or is anyone local to nottingham that can possibly fix the said problem in total for me, paid of course.
If so can some one pm me asap as its doing my freaking nut in.

my first step would be to clean the terminals. ive had loads of problems, which were just due to having dirty connections.

i'm guessing that should solve it, so if the bulbholders are for a mk2 ph2 (so has 4 connections, 2 on each side, that connect it to the clusters) just buy 2 new fronts off ebay for about £10-15.

I had a similar problem, and Middo is spot on. The terminals in mine had started corroding. Its easy to check for this and you'll soon find out if this is the problem.
