Rear Disc Mounted With/Without Spacer Photo Request

Had my 172's rear discs/bearings replaced at a local garage. One has failed within two weeks. I'm being told that the wheel must have had an impact to take the bearing out, along with the ABS sensor and stub axle damage. I don't recall any impact and suspect they may not have retained the spacer.

With one side being in pieces and the other as they installed it, I need some pics to compare with if possible bearing in mind I'll be looking at the car on a ramp. Always difficult trying to tell a garage they might not have done the job properly.

The number of threads showing out of the hub nut can give you an idea if they are fitted or not

But I'd be inclined to get them to take the disc off as the spacers are sided aswel, so if they have re fitted them they may be wrong way round, also re-torquing to 175nm is important

Thanks! That did the trick - they hadn't fitted the spaces so they're now picking up the tab!
