REAR END KNOCKING ON 182

I seem to have accuried a knocking on the back end of my 182? I have looked high and low even to the extreme of taking the exhaust off and re fitting it and changed the rear dampers but still no joy. there is also no play in the rear bearings. Does anyone have any ideas that may help. thanks.

Exhaust mounts in good nick?

That'd be the first place i'd check.

its a AAS exhaust so has custom mounts mate so there all good. its strange to be honest it doesnt do it over smaller bumps and pot holes but then if going at any speed and hit a bump it makes the knocking sound. If i gentally hit the rear bumper it does rattle abit so think that will be the next thing but would be suprised if it was.
