rear quarter panel different colour

Went to view a clio 182 today, all checked out and looked really good except i was draw to the rear quarter panels which seemed fo be a very slightly different shade of silver. The seller gave the usual excuse saying they are all like that but i was like yeah yeah. I was convinsed it had a respray but the thing that confused me was it was both rear quarters. What do you guys think?
