Rear Spacers - handbrake cable issue

Have just fitted 15mm spacers (behind the hub carrier type) the same time as putting new discs and pads on and now I'm fitting everything back it seems the handbrake cable is 10mm short.

Its my dad that's finishing the car off for me while I'm away working.

He's fully slackened the cable off under the heat shield by exhaust. But says he's still short.

Is he missing somethin obvious or do I need a longer cable?
I think he's fully fitted everything and the handbrake cables going on last.... Is this the reason for not enough slack?
I would have thought he could get the needed length from the slacking off.

I've messaged MAD but haven't had a reply as of yet.

It wasn't when I left the car in the garage as the rear was in the air... Handbrake off and in 1st gear.

Hmmm, it seems a little odd - I never had any trouble.

I would check that your dad hasn't put it on to be honest - that's all I can think it would be!

Ok. Will check when I get home at the weekend. Im hoping he's just done something 'blonde' and it'll go straight on... Lol
I can't see how you can't get the 10mm fully slack off.
