Rear speakers question in 3 door mk3

  Clio 1.2tce DSX
So I've been scouting the forum for answers but can seem to find any so here goes...
Was looking at putting some rear speakers in my 1.2tce dynamique sx, I took the rear grills off to see if there is any wiring behind to just plug/tap into, found empty space for the speaker with the fitting clips (t20/25 torx screws and clips) but no wiring. Should the wiring be there and possibly right down the bottom inside the rear quarters or is it something I'd have to make up and run new wiring to the head unit?

Are you the first owner? There should be a clip for it to plug int the standard speakers some ware, if there isn't there should be 4 wire that run to the back of your car for the rear speakers (left and right) they normally run down the plastic skirt on the inside of the car. Have a look, I on my friends Clio they were yellow and purple, not sure if that would be the same as yours? Alternatively you could just get an amp and feed the speakers all off the amplifier might be easier than pulling your car apart lookibg for a speaker feed? Hope this helps
