Rear spoiler downforce

Car  Ph1
Taken from the link below.

Is this really true about the V6 / Trophy spolier or just a bit of wishful thinking?
If its true, at what kind of speeds does downforce show?

''Offical Renaultsport figures showed the increase in downforce that this spoiler gives over the standard spoilers and the cup one. Same goes for the Cup Pack front bumper splitter, however I can no longer find these details on the Renaultsport site.''

using logic, i reckon it adds quite a bit at high speeds

Not sure about anyone else but i find the Clio a bit light towards the back at high speed. Wonder if it would help a bit?

Is the trophy spoiler the same as the Cup ?

trophy has the same Spoiler as the V6.

Cup packed 182's have the same spoiler as the 172 cup and 182 cup.

Nope, four types of spoiler....

Bog standard, pov spec spoiler, (looks just like a plastic strip)

Dynamique/ph1 172/ph2 172/ph2 182 without cup pack spoiler, (the most common spoiler)

Cup spoiler (found on the 172 cup, and 182 with cup spoiler pack option)

V6/Trophy spoiler (largest of the spoilers)

Off the top of my head so sorry if I'm wrong, lol!

this one offers the only real downforce, and it works :D

If renault are right if you fit one of these and a 197/200 diffuser you should be able to pull wheelies :D
