rear wheel bearing

  recaro'd 172 rep
my ph2 non sport needs a rear wheel bearing, is there a guide anywere on how to do 1? or any tips before i get started?

  Now Sold :-(
Have never done one myself but suspect you are going to need a bearing press to get the old one out and install the new one. If you have the press can't imagine it will be that difficult to do.
IIRC the bearing is pressed into the brake drum and should pull off the stub axle quite easily as long as you have wound the brake shoes back in as they can catch on the lip of the drum.
Sure someone who has done one will be along with a full explanation soon.
good luck

Hey,

Not sure if you have sourced one yet, but if you haven't and they are the same as the rear wheel bearings as the mk2 ph1 non sport, then gsf is the place to go, currently selling them for £11.50+vat
