Reboot Laptop - Cause iPhone Issue?

Laptop is having a rebuild by the guys at work today. With a fresh HDD and new OS installed.
Do I need to do anything to Itunes so that when I connect my phone again it recognizes it correctly? And doesn't start complaining.

just reinstall itunes, but your settings etc will all be gone unless you back them up onto another hdd
