So following on from this thread...

I have just returned home from a 466 mile journey in the twingo (jeeez that car was not designed for road trips lol) and picked up my seats today from capital seating...

Im afraid I need convincing guys!!!! :( the leather is spot on, looks and feels sumptuous and smells great! My first initial dread was I should have went for a brighter red for the embroidered logos... In the sun it almost looks pinky purpley red but it looks better indoors and in natural daylight,

Anyways I will let the pics do the talking, they aren't fitted yet as I'm fooked from driving and the 4am start!

They look epic tbh

I think if you'd have got with a brighter red it would had stood out to much the subtle red works well, will be in good keeping with the rest of your interior

Yeah a stovax multi fuel thingy, house is just a renter but it won't be for long as moving into our own house this summer :)

Cheers for the comments guys...there's no way to change them now anyways so it's tough luck I'll just have to like it!

The centre panels are easily changed anytime mate, I do like the all black though! Keeps it classy
 
the stitching looks good, but can't really see the rs badge. May look better in different lighting?

get em in, still smart none the less :)
 
I think the colour looks great. Like Chris says. You don't want them bright. It's subtle.

But to me the 'RenaultSport' bit looks a bit, almost smudged?

Ill get some non iPhone pics tomorrow on my proper camera and once they are fitted..

The logos are all clearly defined in real life so no problems there, think its just the grainy pics mate


They would look nice in black and yellow with the rear stripped out ;)
 
In the car and some proper photos I can see these looks top b****cks!!

Get em fitted and get some super crisp DSLR photos!

I can't promise you DSLR pics but I like to think my digi is pretty decent, mind you..once photobucket make them all grainy my efforts will probably be wasted lol

True, they are extremely expensive to buy new now, recaro hiked all prices by a rediculous 40% in January, I couldn't afford a new set now either mate, your looking around £2400 in leather + the mounts + custom stitching and logos !!!!!!!!
 
I love the stitching on the bolsters, the placement and size of the word recaro and the colour of the stitching.

However, I really don't like the Renaultsport bit. Looks a bit too much like an after thought to me. Sorry.
 
They look super Colin. Subtle isn't a bad think. You've modded the car whilst keeping it non chav. The seats continue that.

Well I've just fitted the drivers seat in the car and I have to say it does look pretty special!

Its raining at the moment though so will see what the weathers doing later once I get the second one in, it won't come out of its raining / windy / anything other than hot and sunny lol

They do look super special in the car I have to be honest!!! Very OEM looking and the leather makes the old vinyl seem terrible!
 
I didn't like them when you first posted the pictures up, however think they look much better now they are in the car.
