Recaro style seat frames

Hello

After getting some Mitsubishi EVO 8 seats for my 172 and then pricing the frames up to fit the standard Renault runners I relised there not cheap from Recaro. I've been to see an engineering company about fabricating up a set for myself and the guy who works there has said the more I buy the cheaper it will be. These will be identical to the ones fitted in the Trophy as I've give him a set to copy.

Would anybody be interested in buying a set of 4 to put a pair of seats in there 172 / 182 to allow fitment of EVO, Accord, Integra ect seats. I haven't got a definite price yet just seeing if people want them or whether I'm waisting my time but guessing to be around the £150 per vehicle set

So if I buy some evo 9 seats these will bolt straight to the bottom, then straight into the car? No chopping/welding required?

Will they sit any higher/lower than the standard seat runners?

These would go between the standard seat runners and the base of your chosen seats. I haven't got mine yet but measurements were taken off trophy seat bases so imagine to be the same. Hope this helps

I'd be interested. I have a set of Evo 6 seats waiting to go in, just need some seat frames for them.
