Reccomend me a Snow Foam Lance

The HD or heavy duty snow foam lances are considered the best. For a Karcher K2.36m you will require the regular consumer Karcher connection.

You have PM.

Awsome!

How do you get the foam to be really think? Is it a case of the more shampoo you add the thicker it is?

^^^^high concentrate of snow foam should do the trick.

I'm going to replace my old plastic £20 Karcher foam gun for a decent one, from i4deatailing next week

We've just got a new snow foam lance in, which is a really high quality bit of kit.

Here's my new van after a blast with PH Neutral Snow Foam.

Just be careful with doing that, the more you put through will create more foam, but obviosuly you run the risk of stripping waxes etc. off with a high ratio.

Some of the snow foams are quite strong alkalines also which makes them superb as a pre wash, but again should be used in moderation. I ahd a customer that had used the regular Super Snow oam neat then wondered why it had stripepd his wax.

Hopefully pending weather holding out tonight Ill get to give it a try and clean the car up (Its nice and dirty at the moment). Got a day out tomorrow for a Mag Shoot for aftermarket Mapping so want it shiney.

One of my mates who is a Cleaning geek, suggested mixing the snow foam with Megs Gold Class in the Lance to get a nice think foam?

^ I wouldn't bother personally, snow foam is designed to be used this way, Gold Class isn't...although having said that I have mixed some with Megs Shampoo Plus and that left a slightly slicker feeling, in my imagination at least anyway!

whats the deal with this anyway? oftern wondered but never asked?

Just spray it on then leave it or do you have to rinse it off and dry? So it's just a replacement rather then dipping the mitt in and out of the bucket and actually wiping the car?

Idea behind it is to negate the wiping of car with a mitt or sponge and creating swirls in the paint.

(Although ill admit I got one because Im a big kid and like gadgets and they look good fun ;))

I thought it was a pre-rinse to remove larger particles which are more likely to cause scratches? I use snowfoam but have to wash afterwards...

that's kinda what I was thinking...in that case...I won't bother getting one lol spend far to much time cleaning the car as it is lol

Yeah just gets the worst of the muck off for a quicker and safer shampoo afterwards. Does its job well but you will still need to give it a "normal" shampoo with mit afterwards still.
