Recent Cambelt change? foglights not working?

Check they've plugged the connectors back together.

I've just had the hassle of having to source the connector pins and pull the plug connectors apart. I rarely use my fog lights so it took me some time to discover they weren't working. In that time with the plugs disconnected water/salt etc was able to get at the pins and corrode them.

My Cambelt change was carried out by a specialist well known to the forum so I would expect something as simple as this to be carried out when refitting the front bumper.

Nope, rotten as f**k. As said pins have been replaced now. They'd obviously been flapping about all through winter when the roads were gritted. Was both the male and female pins in the connector that goes from the car to the fog wiring loom on the inside of the bumper on the passengers side.

why would the bumper have to come off for a cambelt?

Easier access. IIRC they pull the bumper and front panel.

Yup, as with anything some techs will have a different routine/preference to do a job. Front panel has definitely been off as you can tell from the paint having been marked on the bolts that hold it in situ.

I took the bumper, arch-liner and front wheel off.

Makes it a lot easier.
