Recomend me some wheel spacers!

  Trafic 140dci
Looking for some 15mm hubcentric wheel spacers. (front and rear) Would like some that bolt directly to the hub and would also like to do a stud and nut conversion on these.

So all i'm asking is for someone to recommend me a link as I've read that some are rubbish and bolts round off etc, would just like to buy the right ones!

Also a suitable a stud and nut conversion would be good too thanks :)

Getting some 20mm at the end of the month, surprises me just how expensive spacers are, although you'll likely get most of your money back when it comes to selling.

Actually, any have any expeirence of spacing out the front end of a low ph1 with standard 15" Oz F1s. Pics would be great of various sizes 15,20,25mm

Sorry for the thread hijack.

Hi Lewis, as mentioned the links above are good for the spacers but anything less than 20mm per side and you can't get bolt to hub, I am running extra long studs and then just putting the hub centric spacers on. The size of studs you need are 12*1.5 on that link and for 15mm spacers you will need them to be roughly 80mm length. Have a look at the PMS kit although its expensive its a very good kit although you would need to ask them if you can run a 15mm spacer :) http://www.pure-motorsport.co.uk/details.php?itemid=130

Cheers James just the info i need :D just read they are 75mm, only recomended for upto 12mm spacers which is guttering lol

Haha I know I looked on the links and they have too many options it confused me! Yes you will need 12*1.5 and I'm fairly sure the standard 60 degree seat angle will be fine with the 2118's

Sorry missed the post above yes it does say that but I would give them a call and ask as its what i'm running and although i'm only going to be running a 10 and a 5mm spacer to start with i'm fairly sure we can go bigger. It certainly looks that way when I look at the amount of the thread that sticks out from the end of the nut!

Edit: Just found a photo which shows the amount of thread left with no spacer

Oh right, just bought the bits separately and i believe it worked out around 1/3 of pures price, (paid £176 for 2x pair of 15mm spacers and all the bits for a stud and nut conversion) i do know the pure kit is going to be far better quality though, i'll see how i get on :)

i'm just hoping the wheels don't sit proud of the arch's now, measured it and it should be ok.

Wow that was quick Lewis you don't hang around ;)! Thats a really good price mate, I'm sure they will do the job perfectly.

With the 2118's on a 172 cup and 15mm spacer you will be fine!

I sold my old wheels earlier, and alot quicker than i expected, so thought i'd treat the car, really it needs the spacers, lost 6mm changing to 2118's as they are et43 and my old TD 1.2's were et37 so quite close to shocks now.
