What was helpful about it? Panasonic would be the only plasma to buy. No LCD screen can compare to them.

I've heard this TV will be £699 tomorrow for Black Friday.

I've been looking at this. I'm in no real need for a new TV and £699 is the same as Richer Sounds price anyway (excluding the 5 year warranty).
I'm wondering if the sensible thing would be to wait until the new year sales?

At Currys in store the 55" was £649 today!

Bump for this, few things came up and never actually got around to buying a TV, current one is starting to go pink on light colours so need one before it totally gives up..
