Recommend me a new graphics card...

  BMW E46 330i Touring
I'm rubbish with the internals of PC's, but I currently have an ATi Radeon 9200 128mb graphics card, I think (card has "R92LE" which seems to be the 9200), but is obviously soooo outdated now that I need to upgrade.

Anyone now what the logical upgrade for this would be, budget of around £50?

Cheers. :)

Where's all the PC peeps?

I've established that it's AGP 8x, so do I just need any other AGP graphics card, or is it best to stick to ATI?

AGP just refers to the form of the socket on the motherboard whereas ATI is the manufacturer;)

TBH you are going to be hard poushed to find a decent graphics card that is compatible with AGP as most of the new cards are PCI.

(7800 agp)

If you can't get one cheap enough search ebay for 7600gs agp. their alright. However your probs best saving for a new pc - agp is old interface which sucks.

PCI-E (express) not PCI, PCI graphics is very old school

Yeah, so doesn't that mean I need an AGP if my current one is?

Not interested in spending hundreds on a new PC when mine is fine for what it does but just needs a bit more graphics oomph!
