I am considering trying to relocate the cd player under the glove box, in order to place a screen in the din space in the dashboard. How hard would this be and are there extenders available for the wiring harnesses etc? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

You can buy standard iso to iso adaptors from halfords, you might need to use a couple of them or cut and solder/join one.
