Removal of The plenium



  GW 200T
Can some one please tell me how to remove the plenium on top of the enginge bay (the bit that says renaultsport on) loads of people have polished that and the fuel rail gaurds. If any 1 has any links to a picture diagram that will be great

I had mine off for the 1st time a few days ago, it's pretty easy, just got to make sure you disconnect everything from it. There's a guide in the guide section for taking it off as well I think.

Take the engine cover off if you have one,

now you will see 2x 10mm bolts on the back near the Coil pack,
and further 5x 10mm in the front,
Oh and remove the coil pack aswell thats further 4x10mm bolts,

remove them and lift it off.
 
don't need to remove the battery or the airbox. you could disconnect the battery if you're worried about disturbing circuits whilst you work, but not really necessary.

just need to take a good look around the casting to make sure you've spotted everything that needs removing. look after the oil seal at the top of the plenum (you'll see it when you take it off); obv. take care not to drop any muck into the lower inlet whilst it's off; clean up the mating faces before putting it back on; use a new gasket
