Removing brace bar between ecu and slam panel?

In the interests of tidying up the engine bay a bit, is this bar necessary? I'm sure Renault must have put it there for a reason, but are there any negatives to removing it?

Its there just to hold the ECU housing steady , along with the one on the other side that usually snaps .

If you wiggle a piece of wire enough times, it will eventually break.

Think I'll leave it in place. Plus it gives me something to attach to bracket for my fatty induction kit to ?
