Removing Brake Disc

Im just changing my front brake discs, and have removed the caliper assembly, and removed the two torx screws that hold the disc on, but i cant get the disc off. It seems well and truly rusted on. :@

I thought it was supposed to just pull off, but its not having any of it, even with the use of a large hammer, and liberal amounts of of WD40.

Any tips?

Use a mallet and smack the f**k out of it but keep turning it 180 degrees or youll be wedging it.

It took me ages to get Cupcakes discs off when I did his brakes. You can also use some kind of nail bar behind but be carefull not to bend any of the mounts.

All sorted, they came off eventually. Once again brute force wins :D.

I think I annoyed all my neighbours with the noise though.

Cheers for the tip about turning it 180 degrees Chris, i think that helped too.
