Removing engine cover

I want to look at either painting the cover, or replacing with a carbon fibre version. To do this I need to take off the cover, is it merely a case of undoing some more bolts or is there more to it, like replacing seals/gasket etc?

Secondly, If I looked at colouring the renaultsport logo what is the best way to do it? I used a Tamya enamel paint pen on my MG ZR, but this came off after a few months.

Also, what are your opinions on the 2 types - does carbonfibre look better?

you just undo the 4 bolts, its only a plastic cover

would have thought you could paint the writing using some high temp resistant metallic paint from halfords
