Removing Headunit on W reg Clio

I know you need special keys to get the radio out, are they the same as you need for a ford? like U shape bits of metal...

If not can i buy them from halfords ?

And also do i need to buy an adaptor wire aswell to use a Kenwood cd player (only temp as as im borrowing me mums car and cant stand tape lol)

Just the same ones as from used on a ford and so long as you have the loom out of the kenwood then youll be fine. You might need a PC5-27 aerial adaptor for the radio though.
 


i used a couple of nails that fitted down the holes to get mine out. if you can get some that fit snug against the casing when you push em in, you should just be able to pull it out.
