Removing rear platfrom on coilovers

  PH1 iceburg
Right, im in 2 minds as to wether i should remove the rear platforms on my coilovers to drop the back lower or get some custom springs made.

Will removing the rear platforms cause any excessive wear on anything/make it unsafe?

Cheers

Dan

No, I did it for months and it was fine. Looked brilliant too;

ive removed mine, good 5mm of lowering there,
i had to dial in some stance tho they would fit the arches.

People who have done this - are you just removing the adjustable platform and leaving the thread in place, or are you taking it all out all together and using the original rubber caps that were on the axle to seat the spring?

I removed my platform and left the thread in, the springs fall out when both wheels are jacked up and it hit on the bump stops constantly so leads to dire handling and you only gain about 5-6mm extra.
