i removed the renault dealer's sticker from my rear window but it's left some residue. anyone know of anything that'll get it off easily?

  a thirsty one
if your havnt any of that bug and tar remover AG glass polish does the trick or if you have a bottle of brake fluid that also works really well, however be very careful to only get it on the glass dont let it go on any other surface.

makes mince meat out of sticker residue though.

well it didn't do any damage to it, it was a 1994 106 1.5 diesel though so wasn't too bothered if it had done

I would really not recommend some of the ideas posted so far such as brake fluid as it is on the inside of a car and a tiny mistake could make a far worse mess.

As posted, try the AG tar remover on some cotton wool, should come off fairly easilly. For something a little tougher try nail varnish then some glass cleaner after, obviously.

What about removing exterior badges? What's the best method of removing them without damaging the paintwork?

Clio is just held on by two pins.

Heat the Renault bit up with a hairdryer to soften up the adhesive, use some cotton to get behind it and peel of gently. Remove the residue with some AG Tar and Adhesive remover and a quick polish.

As Rich says, Hairdryer is best to warm it up first, comes off a lot easier, aswell with the outside ones.

bit of white spirit on kitchen tissue is what I last used for tax disc holder and dealer sticker, works a treat!

i picked at mine and pulled it straight off. it was old and crumpled though. little bit of sticky left round the ends of the sticker but a few wipes with the ag tar remover and it was off.

didnt need to bother with the hair dryer.
