Remving front Wiper's ?

How on earth are you suppose to remove the front wiper?

Basiclly i need to get to a bolt but cant due to the wiper holding down the scuttle panel cover, iv removed the bolt that holds it on tried to release it but no such luck, im only tryin to get my passenger wing off ffs

Brute force, they are a b**ch to get off.

check the guides section mate,

someone came up with a great idea about removing them,

put the bolt on tight,
find a spanner that will fit over both the bolt and the wiper,
then with the spanner firmly on, undo the bolt, as long as the spanner stays in place, as the bolt comes off, it should force the wiper arm to follow.

^ That guide is for rear wipers though and this topic is about front wipers. Or will that technique work for both?

The technique will work for both, I used an adjustable spanner to keep the bolt and the whiper together, otherwise it wasnt tight enough to pull it up as well

as long as theres room for the adjustable spanner of course it will work lol,
theyre held on in the same way.

ta, we had a right pain getting it off but managed in the end, dont kno why they have 8/9 bolts hold the wings on lol renault ffs

I have the same problem with the front left wiper...the mechanism got rusty and it's very noisy on bumps and when I use it.

I tried to remove it but no luck, even the my mechanic gave up!!

I'll try with the spanner as told before but I'm not sure i got it right.

the fronts are a pain so so so much of a paint

pull the wiper up from the window, take the nut off and keep tugging

wd40 may help

Eh. I used like 2 bottle of wd40 and risked to rip out the whole thing pulling...

Ball joint splitter did the trick for me when I had to replace my wiper mechanism.

Today i tried with the two spanner method, with a 17 and a 13. There's no much space for the first. I tried but when i try to unscrew the bolt the 17 spanner slide off the top of the bolt without result...

I couldn't find my adjustable spanner, i wonder where it is...
