my clio has had the 1.8 16v engine fully retuned to give this little car breakneck speed,it is booked in at 181bhp witch is very fast for a car of this size,also it has been fitted with up lifted cams new barrels and full new air systems with huge k&n to make it breath.i would put this on par with any 2.0 williams it looks better and has much more performance, but at the same time it is a lot cheaper to insure and run with 42 miles to the gallon.good insurance group.The paint work on this car is mint it has had the full boot flushed off,this is very very hard to steel as ive added a clifford cat 1 alarm and immobilizer with anti hijack,also this alarm controls the central locking with the touch of a button.My clio has been lowered to the floor to give it unreal handling it is as low as you can make a clio go,there is a stainless steel scorpion all the way through with twin back box{sounds mint} also fitted is a bumper plate to stop it burning the paint work.the wheels are 17" gold wolfrace alloys with brand new tyres all round fitted 3 weeks ago.for the last mot it needed new rack and ball joints for mot so the tracking is all done and ready,this car has power steering abs{discs all round} and sun roof.here is a list of things it has on it,blue colour coded lights,white dials with all oil pressure dials,steel steering wheel,flared arches vented bonnet,sony flip front cd player and an awsome boot spoiler that lifts up and down to help it slow the car.there are many more bits to this car to list.
Hmm 181bhp, 42mpg and its got an airbrake.
im sold.

Hi there this is a mint example of a renault clio williams.
This renault clio is got to be one of the best on the road.before i tell you about this car i must make one thing clear, if you have no feedback dont bid.

this is true, but it seems the poor chavtastic owner doesnt know the difference between a c0ck and a fanny, so it could have a 1.4 energy lump in it for all we know!

think hes refering to standard tho. they are too easily tuned to be talked about any other way. lol. 17 secs to 100 isnt that special for a cossie really considering there are clios on here that do 100 in 14-15 secs. 160 is for faries, its how quick to a ton that counts
that advert does sound like a bird owned it looking at the name.
would explain a lot of the utter sheit in the listing
hehe just kiddingDunno mate, theres an air of superiority when driving a Cossie. 0-100 is only good on small runs, no good on an open road. Theyre just legends, people see a Cossie go storming past they are in awe of it. Clios dont get that reaction. unless of course your talking V6.
I think my car in standard is quicker to 100mph but the cossie over all beat me a few times.
Valver and Willy gearbox isnt up to it. 172/182 prob isnt geared for it either. Also areodynamics play a big role. My mates Nova has a Calibra Turbo engine running 265 bhp. Has the Astra GTE 16v box so it wont get near the 152 mph that the that Calibra Turbo does.
V6 could but not talking about that.
Yours is the pretty quick light ass Clio isnt it?
Cant speak for yours obviously but my mates bog standard Escos used to eat my Clio for breakfast. And his wasnt in great shape.
As for the Sapph my other mate had I could have him till the turbo kicked in!
BUT, no experience of a standard Sapphire I admit.
Corsa doing 180 mph? Must have had a 6 speed calibra turbo box and a heck of alot of modding?

cosworth killer my arse there no renault around could take apart a 600bhp cossie that runs low 10s over a quarter mile. Had a mate that had a 4x4 sierra cossie that was running 400bhp and it use to go off the 170mph clock. Only way a renault clio would beat a cossie is around roundabouts or cornering.
theres a guy goes to the ford days at york....has a mint escy cos...untouched mod wise.........runs 14.8s.......now theres loadsa clios thatd whoop that
but cossies.....depending on wether they RWD or 4wd...... the RWDs can be had quite easily up to a ton......even the big HP ones......y?? cos they jus lite the back tyres up for fun..spinnin is losin traction=not goin anywhere fast..........the 4WD ones are obviously a bigger problem lol

13.1 in a near standard RWD Cossie is pretty untouchable by a Clio. Thats what my mate did. Beating a 265 bhp Nova Turbo, 330bhp 4x4 cossie, 330+ bhp Lotus Esprite 2.2 Turbo.
If you know how to launch them then theyre alot faster than the 4x4s.
Less weight and loads less power loss to the wheels. The 4x4 was taken from 204 bhp to 227 bhp simply to compensate for power loss through the wheels. Its actually a slower car than the RWD ones. (Escos is a different story)
Also a big factor is you get extremely good ones and very bad ones.
