I'm new to the site and well impressed by the content
I drive a 2002 Renault Clio 1.2 petrol and am having trouble with my Electronic Fault & Preheating Warning Light coming on when I am driving. When it comes on the accelerator stops working but the car continues to take over fine. You can pump the accelerator but nothing happens.
Once this happens the light will stay on for a period of time from 5 mins to 30 mins. It has begun happening around 3 days ago and has happened 5 times since. Any ideas what the problem could be or any suggestions to fix it. I'm thinking it could be some sort of relay that may not be working correctly???
