Hi there people right long story short my dad left a few years ago now but he used to do rally driving this is him

And I would really like to advice and what engine mods/ Performance mods are available for a Renault clio. It is a 1.2 16v clio and would just really like some advice on whats available #

Leave it as it is. Safe your money, and get a few years of driving under your belt. Then spend the money on something worth while!

Cone filter for a louder noise. It won't increase bhp though.

honestly mate, you'll be pissing money away chasing power from a clio, never mind a 1.2, everyone who asks gets the same advice 'wait till you can afford faster'... I was in your position a few years back, I wanted power from my 1.4, wasted money, and now I own a quick clio.

get some good tyres and rokkor/raceland coilovers. It'll be far more effective than chasing power

i wasted so much money on my old car lol.

172 rear bumper, moulded a 172 front bumper to the front wings, £200 waste of money induction kit, bean can exhaust.

the best things I did were the coilovers, cup spoiler, turinis and rear bumper. All brilliant mods and you can sell them on for a similar price you paid for them (bar paint and tyres)

Is it road/track/rally legal? As I know some places have restrictions and I think the s1600s were for a dedicated event weren't they?

I think its rally mate as I say don't really speak to him much anymore but I have been in it once literally s***t myself!

Pity youve fallen out with your dad, he could probably give you all the advice you need.. From what I have gathered, Id only buy stuff you can take off and put onto your next car.. That way its like a savings account without interest but you wont waste too much money. .
