Renault Sport ecu

I have 2 questions

1)Will the alarm of an Mk2 still work when a Renault Sport ecu is fitted?
2)Are there also 172 Mk2's with Cruise Control?

yes and yes.

Yup alarm will work and my 53 plate 172 has cruise control, basically any 172 (non cheap) manufactured after September 2003 will have cruise.

I don't think the cruise works with the ecu.

Depends which ecu I guess

I ask that because I tried the Mk2 ecu with higher idle and the cruise control didn't work

The alarm will work no problem.
Depends on the ECU though regards cruise some do work some don't.
