Renault Sport meet Salisbury Plain

Went along for a nice Sunday drive with the guys from Renault Sport today which turned into a Clio meet as there was only one non Clio present. Had a really good afternoon and had a nice drive around Stonehenge. I think nearly everyone in the car park stood and stared as we drove in.

Cheers to Dee for organising it and it was great meeting new folk and getting to know some guys off here as well.

Had a great time not long come back home after taking a little detour via Oxford on the way back to South Wales..

Just going to have a quick look at the pictures we got but I think Andy has some cracking shots of you folks on the road..

Yup we had a late night before hand so no chance of cleaning them this morning either!

Was a good meet, first meet I've seen where there was a proper plan of action and maps handed out, I think Iain our area rep has taken on board some tips

Aa bit on the tired side as it was an early start for us this morning and quite a long day in the end. Another 300 miles clocked up today on the Trophy... and loving every mile of it.

As far as I know only me, s70res and peejay182 went from the CS south central area and we're all members on the RS forum.

The picture was taken by my passenger while the vehicles at the front were waiting for traffic to clear at the junction of a roundabout... hope that has cleared that up

I was at the back so Andy with his lovely camera skills was able to take some nice moving shots..

Not sure why pple are giving Day a hard time over this meet, it was not his meet so therefore, not really his place to go advertising it on here, is it ?

Dee who organised this meet is not a member of Clio Sport so can not advertise on in the meets section, even if she wanted to..

Also it was the 1st meet she has organised so maybe she just wanted to keep things small... besides its was a Renault Sport meet.. as Day said Clio sport dont advertise meets everywhere!!!

Group hug lets all be friends and now you folks know about Renault Sport you can keep a look out on the meets board and maybe get to meet some more lovely people.

Now I feel bad about posting this and not advertising it. I am not a regular on Renault Sport and only went along as I had missed the last South Central meet as was unable to get out of family comitments.

It was a great meet and as Lynda says above we should all just get on with it and not get upset about not going.

Thanks b3nje, appreciate the kind words. Luckily the weather was fine and the sun was out so it made life a fair bit easier (as far as pointing and clicking the camera was concerned).

A good little meet and one I enjoyed.
