renault stealers joke!

My cars in renault at the moment, my exhaust seems like its blowing a bit after on having it refitted by them last august.

renault want £42 for them to just look at it couldnt believe it robbing gits.

I think im going to go to a specialist next time that no doubt you guys go to, just get ripped off at the dealers whats new?

To top it off i was talking to the parts bloke about a splitter and he says that they didnt come with my car, so a lower spoiler doesnt come with a cup then? yes thats right,

could you imagine my reaction lol what a joke?

Dealers are faggots m8, only go there for warranty.

I old cup was in there every other week.

Gear box, engine mounts, seats, seat belts, starter cables, fuses, coils...

iirc the 172 cup didn't come with a front splitter

they just rang me saying that i need a new clamp fitted and thats what the problem was, i argued saying it was only done back in august do they not have some guarantee on the exhaust,

but apparantly the guarantte goes out the window because i had it fitted before under warranty and when the car goes out of warranty nothing is guaranteed, typical lol

for my future business im definately going to a specialist, whos the nearest to me in Leicester?

Listen m8, if you rant & rave enough they'll do that for free. It was their shoddy workmanship what caused the problem. Wot if they do a job under warranty, they don't have to do it properly or give the standard 1 years guarantee? ffing turd necks, threaten em with watchdog, that'll spur em into 'lets be nice mode'.

As an older more experienced punter I'd have to say Renault dealers are no better/worse than other marques

Up here in Inverness the dealer is ''Ness Motors'' most of the mechanics have been there for 10+ years and are well clued up on ClioSport variants.
My cup is still under warranty but in days gone by when I needed work done on my 5gtt I allways went to the workshop to seek out the guy who did homers. You will get better service from a chap you are dealing with on a personall basis, and paying him in tax free wonga. [cheap parts]

At the front desk they will gubb you if you let them. How else can they pay for these exotic pot plants and God knows what other overheads.

Pffft, i take mine back for warrenty, they fix one problem and make another! Iirc its been back about 5 times! and it has to go again!!! plus they alwasy says thats not covered under warrenty, bunch of pricks.

It was stuck in the boot as they caught on the delivery lorries but many dealers didn't fit them as they didn't bother to. Owners didn't notice so they were OK.

When my 182 had a faulty fuel sensor i took it to wolves where i bought it.They replaced it and gave it a full valet and put some flowers on the seat for my wife.....
Mr walker who is the director for renault UK and works mainly from wolves got us the car on F+F.
Like has been said if you kick up a fuss or know people then you will get somewhere.Stand your ground.

guess i got ripped then lol, i was arguing for ages with the receptionist asked for a manager and she said there aint one till Monday as it was a Saturday at the time, Joke.

I couldnt be arsed in the end said fit the clamp or whatever on the exhaust get it all sorted then never go there again.

cnt be arsed with them again.

Fred are u the nearest to me for any work i need doing in the future?

my 36k service will be coming up soon, well i say soon but probably will be in the next 6 months as i dont do as many miles now to work.

whats ur price like on a 36k service?

yer its true mate,

my g/f gets wound up with these scenarios, i remember when my gearbox went after 2 weeks of buying it from Renault and they said there were no courtensy cars.
My g/f rang them um spoke with one of the managers and demanded to get me a car while mine was being fixed, she said i know u got courtesy cars as the person on my street works for renault and he brings back a new car each day, the guy shut up after that and said he will have a courtesy car ready for the next morning lol, result.

182 cups don't come with the spoiler m8, that guy in parts obviolsy knew more than you lol. It comes with the cup spoiler pack.

And Mr "walker" is deputy md of rea group uk, not ren uk lol
