hi,

just thought id place a link to what maybe my next car ((two years time)). It looks good, its seems fast and with that turbo its going to be tunable to much greater levels. 0-62 6.5 225bhp + more importantly it have lots of safety features (probalby more in two years). any guesses as to tuning? 240bhp - 250bhp 0-62 5.8? bring it on in luxury

Why not wait for the next Clio which basically looks like a mini 2-dr Megane...from what Ive read it should also have the 225bhp turbo lump

wow! that sounds cool, have you any pictures?? but really i think you should always strive to move upwards and although the clio probably will be safer than the current model and have more kit, and the build quality will be better (although to be fair inside my clio its really quiet and refined also feels almost like audi A2 build (im gonna get slated for that) that its still a clio and compromises will be made. People will still see it as a clio. The megane has really managed to capture a high end feel and its sturdy. Will the clio be faster? yes by about 0.4 -5 hundreths of a second (megane weighs more) but the percived image and sturdy build swings it. although i havent seems any pictures of new clio yet!!!!

Hmm, will build quality be better. It seems from what Ive read that most problems occur on the Renaultsport models, which are all built in Dieppe. Be interesting to see how the Megane RS holds up quality wise, compared to the other Meganes.

That new megane is a real grower. I hated it when it first came out but the more I see them about the more I like them.

Wouldnt have even considered them until now, and when the time comes for me to get rid of the clio, they will definitely be an option. (a renaultsport one, of course)

My dads fully specced 3dr 1.9dCi should arrive next month. He found a coupon in the mail for £1700 towards options on all new Meganes, the lucky swine. So he got full leather for nowt.

yup megane is gonna be on the list. I think the more cars you buy the more you can determine exaclty what you want out of a car. And i can really see myself driving a metalic black renault sport 225 megane with 18" alloys and half red leather interior with renault sport embroided on the seats (in colour this time!) hmmm... or iceburg silver with black leather (plush headrests) that twin exhaust note as standard. And of course just as with my 172 now, no one i know or have seen in the last 1month of driving has or will have one. Cost/insurance or just wimps i dunno but these renault sports seem very exclusive.

i was rading the article on the megan and i was very impressed even more so that renault are relaunching the TURBO

finally renault have done something right, and at 225 bhp it is gonna be the next big modding venture after the R5GTT..



Just cant wait for the review on the new clio with the same engine...... is it a megan or clio next car mmmmm each to there own

as long as they dont make the car to heavy like when they started playing with the golfs... but thats a different story..
