Hi all first time for me please be kind.
got this car and steering makaking a racket also juders on first start up sreeching noise, checked levels and toped up tried jacking off ground and moving weel all way left and right no noise when off ground but off jacks screems like hell, Don't know a great deal only what im reading off you great guys any advice would be great, also can i get a manual anywhere on line to take apart engine to get to the pump to maybe change or repair.

Is it a Clio sport (1.6ltr), or a RenaultSport Clio(2.0ltr), like a 172 or 182?

PAS pump. Mine was the same when I got it. Its on the front of the engine, but is a bit of a pain to do if you aren't good with spanners. Other wise its bumper off, slam panel off, aux belt off drained PAS pump off, new pump on, new aux belt kit on (don't reuse, not worth the risk as a snapped aux belt on a clio also takes out the cam belt), slam panel on, bumper on, fluids in.

its something like that ^. Someone on here will confirm.

Thanks for that bought new pump got a machanic to put it on put new belt on but pully will not go on properly keeps slipping forward soon as i start car off with pull bought new one and again new belt same again pully keeps sliping forward
