Replacing battery on 182 Key

Hi,

I am having no success with opening the key to replace the battery for the remote central locking.

Ive read past posts but havent seen one specifically for the 182. Dont know if its different but Im having no luck!!!

Ive had the key ring bit off, had a screwdriver in, but no joy. Any advice pls?

Its a b**ch matey, I put a bit of string through a bit on the end of the metal of the key and pliers on the plastic and pulled like hell. Thats the gung ho method though lol

Mines a 99 1.2, I think the key is the same though

ok, finally ive done it... i managed to do it by pushing the bit with the arrow on in the direction of the arrow from the back of the key but heck i had to make myself hate the key a lot to muster the power to do it... but i paid a high price... omg my thumbs are bruised and bleeding!
