Clio II 1.5 dCi

I am absolutely new member of the forum with a not so sporty 65 dCi Clio from 2001
I am having this idea of retrofiting an instrument board with board computer as a begining and then CC if I have the loom required. As I have noticed the instrument boards for the diesel and petrol versions of Mk2 Ph2 are the same so I was wondering if anybody has tried fitting a board computer. Would I need anything but the instrument board and wiper stalk with button?
