Well I said that I would not spend no more money but after cooking dinner for the wife and giving her a foot massage;) i convinced my wife to buy me a PMS gear shifter it was not essential but a good friend of mine had a bad accident in his Clio and had the PMS shifter that he purchased a while ago stored up but it was still brand new never fitted...

So I practically stole it off him for a Ton and a bottle of Jack Daniels...RESULT(y)

That is a result 👍

Yeah it was mate:),but i still feel sorry for my mate, he did not really have to sell it to me but I think that he was just fed up....I guess we have all felt like that some times:(,anyway he knows I will take care of it and put it to some good use,i guess that he wants to help me to get my car sorted out which I respect him to the max for (y)

Well i was woken up this morning with a little delivery from Pure Motorsport, just a few parts that was not essential but thought with the postage cost for ordering just the new style lifter that i might as well tick another part of my "Want but don't Need list" :p...a light weight pulley kit...

i'm trying to keep my project on the same bases that I had previously done with my Scooby project build "Modifications Wise",which in the end turned out just the way that I wanted, even though I am still finding things to add on that project up to now!

Lots of nice bits here Adrian, nothing changes eh.
Will be quite a weapon once complete and no doubt built to your usual high standards. 👍🏼
Yes Frayz (y)I promised my wife that it’s my last project car so i thought that i might as well make it a proper one...My last Swansong...(y)

Well after a quick talk with incy-spider I have ordered a Sachs clutch and a billet flywheel for my project,i did notice a lot of members that turbo a Clio go for the Helix clutch, but when I asked a few mates about them they have all said that the Sachs clutch is better built and better quality then the Helix....hopefully should be with me by the weekend.

Yeah mate I’m use to driving with paddle clutch’s having them on my Renault 5 turbos Over the years ,and my twin plate on my STI...i was tempted to get the organic plate but my driving style is a tad hard on them and as my car is not going to be a every day car i went for the paddle...

Any thoughts on the Sachs paddle clutch, whats take up on it like in stop start conditions?

Would probably go for the organic plate, unless you have turbo torque to deal with...as the paddle plate is one you need to have experience with as its more OFF/ON In use then the organic which is much more user friendly...I have been driving with paddle clutches for over 25 years now so its not really a bother for me.
