Rev Idle Problem

i have a clio 2002 dynamique. wen i slow down to revs lower than 1000 the light underneath the petrol light comes on. the car revs a little bit by itself, then sometimes stall.
how can i fix this problem, need to get it fixed cos keep stalling and it's makin me look like i can't drive.

get it back to renault . i got three people that had a 02 clio and all had the same fault
