Revs increase with AC turned on

Morning Guys,

done a quick search for this but didnt find anything with the same symptoms.

Yesterday I noticed when turning the Aircon on the revs jump from 800-1000 rpm at tickover to just 1900-2100rpm with the air con on.

I realise that the engine uses more power to run the AC pump, but this seems to be alot more than previously. Where it was maybe 100 or 200 rpm.

Anyone else ever heard of/experianced this?

Neve heard of it jumping that high, mine does slightly but only 100rpm max

It's made a liar out of me.

I was out in it for lunch Ac ran on all settings and speeds as normal.

Bizzare.

Mine used to do that every now and again. I just put it down to it being French.

DMS thats pretty much what i done.

I'll leave it some Brie and Garlic over night and maybe it'll feck up.
