Ride quality on 40 mm springs, (182)

all those who have apex / eibach 40mm springs on your 182's, what is the ride quality like as a result? On my only 1.4 clio i put on 60mm springs and the ride was horrific! I dont know whether to be a cheap skate and go for 40mm springs on my 182, but definitely not if the ride is poo.

Cheers mate, I'm really impressed with them actually, everyone always notices how much lower it is.

I had my old fiesta lowered too and that was an awful ride. On this one it's not so bad at all, get it done! :)

Try sportlines far better spring in my opinion, apex are not a good spring ive tried them !!!!

I was reasonably happy with Apex -40s on my 172, eventually got fed up with them and forked out for coilies. They can be quite bouncy and a bit crashy but for what they cost they do a reasonable job.

Worth considering Eibach Sportlines - they lower almost as much as Apex -40s but the quality is a lot better. Unfortunately they cost a fair bit more...
