Had a chew on today. live in Darlington and was travellin to london to see my dad and go to the midnight cruise when i hit some debry and it ended with a blow out ...



Didnt result in any damage to the car and im also fine but was just abit scary at 70mph down the m1 in the central lane..

Tires have been replaced now just need to give the beast a real good clean tomorow before i meet up with some of ya's

Also i say a bit debri i mean that big bit of metal haha it got stuck under my engine some how and was just tearing away at the tire i think.

Bloody hell mate, scary stuff. Oddly enough my mate had a tyre blowout today as well. He was 'only' going 40 though and it was only in a corsa.

That chunk of metal looks like the backplate of a HGV drum brake assembly.

Not much damage to the wheel i dont think as u can see like 2 inches of rubber from the bottom part of the tyre on each side reained kinda saving the alloy i think

Going to have a closer look very soon when i was the car
