Rolling Road Results (SHOCKIN)

Mine only made 162 standard at RS TUning but still feels just as fast as it did on the way there, thinking it had 175 ish...

As Fred says, if it feels fast, whats the worry? lol :)

Yh my car does seem go well but if you look at my graphs compared to the others posted in this fread you will see that iv got a big drop in power after 6500 rpm and i feel it alot on the road its just a big flat spot.

they most likely have the ratio wrong for engine rpm/wheel speed.

Well if thats the case mate it must be the map on the car, if the power is cutting out like that. Shouldnt be any flat spots after a custom map...
I know mate but at the time when i got the car back i just thought its made 188 bhp im very happy with that and didnt think much about the flat spot but then after seeing other peoples graphs and been told im loseing power with it running rich i defo know theres a problem.

I went a meet today with with a few other clios and had a bit of a play with a lad with a standard 182 and i stuck with him but when i was taking my revs past 6500 rpm he was starting pull slighty and with my mods i should be going past him.

Still no progress might just get it maped again at rs tuning in leeds but im just chucking another £300 away when it should of been right first time.

But as I said last night u should have gone to RS 1st IMO, if you don't wana do that way get an RS tuner it's also a cheaper option.

Iv been on the phone to them twice today sent all the graphs over and they said there going look into it and ring me back but never did.

I know mate going give them another ring tommorow but it would cost me £35-£40 in fuel to get there and back to sort it out and its fuel money i shouldnt have be spending and thats if they do get it right.

a maxogen wont make an F4R run rich, lean yes, rich no

I am a bit baffled by that 197 jamsport did with cams that made 220+, TDF with arguably more extreme mods to the same base car "only" managed 205 or so, so either TDF are s**t or jamsports dyno is a bit "generous"

No offence to the Jamsport boys but their rollers are fairly generous compared to most. Swings n' round a bouts!!!

I'd get the timing checked and a general sweep over at a specialist n' take it back on the rr.

Yeah theres a specialist not far from me so might take it down there friday when im off work and get them check the timing but then its another £40 iv got spend on having it rolling roaded lol i have no luck with cars at all.

Thers a garage down from my house and the guy is a renault specailist and has been for 25 years he seems know his stuff and he uses all the correct renault tools and hes reasonable priced too but my cars going back jamsport friday get it checked over and put back on the rollers :) and iv been told by a couple of people that my car wasnt running rich at 12.0 as they normaly run around 12.5 so WGT were wrong to say it was running way too rich :S
