Off to get the alignment done on my wheels this morning and thought I'd get a power run too while I'm there.

I'm hoping for around 165ish anything more and I'll be welll chuffed.

Mods are Powerflow exhaust, K&N Filter :( and matched inlets.

What are your guesses!?

Didnt you get the letter from Renault? There actually 256bhp and rear wheel drive, but shhh, dont tell the 182 and 197 owners...

Whats the miles on it?

Nearly 100k on it I got 164.3 which I'm quite pleased about that is BHP not WHP

Check out the graph! Whats the torque like compared to everyone elses?

Engine power seems to me a little bit low according to the mods you have. Cause Jamsport claims that matched inlets give around 7 to 10 bhps on a stock engine. If it really is so then your car was giving around 155 ish without all your mods which is quite low for a 172.

Measured was 176.6bhp yes, but the corrected was 164bhp

I don't know what the difference is tbf!? So I could tell everyone its 176 :p

hmmm? So the engine made 176 at the fly wheel? Im confused, im sure someone more technically minded will be along to clarify this!

Im intrigued though, i also have a Y plate Phase 1 and am getting it RR'd in the next couple of weeks...!

What mileage is on yours?

I'd be concerence with that big dip in power at 6500 and he torque curve is pretty erratic. Numbers mean nothing, you want the curve to be as smooth as possible!

The bigdip in power worried me too, I went straight on to the fast ship website but sold out till end of month :(

Oil and plugs were changed the night before. Air filter is just plain s**t, want my Ph1 airbox back with ITG :(

yeah your filter must be s**t , look at you total torque-dip around 3700 rpm.. wow !

But a remap to suit your inlets will make yours a different car as it does look willing ! Could come out a lot better because now with the large dips you are still making quite good hp at certain point. Imagine what a good filter setup + remap to smoothe out the dips would do
