Rounded exhaust nut!

  LY Megane R26
Hi all,
Went to fit a Yozza today, after the cat where the cat back flanges I managed to smash an 11mm socket on and undo one side, tried it with the next side and it just rounded. Tried it a few more times, tried hitting it with a chisel and even a 10mm socket but its not budging and the nut is kind of ruined now!
Any ideas people? also another question I take it I need the thread that's welded onto the cat to the new exhaust?

  DON'T SEND ME PM'S!!
should all be nut and bolt. Just cut through the nut with a grinder and get fresh fixings. I have to cut these off almost every time

I have used my dremel in the past which helps when space is tight. If you have neither a angle grinder or dremel then a hacksaw!

Surprised you didnt apply some heat to the nuts first.....9 times out of ten they will undo then.
but as said dremel or at worst hacksaw :)

So it is a fixing as the bolt from the car side looks welded on and seriously stuck on and won't turn either. I didn't want to cut the nut off and be left with a stud not long enough.
