RS182-Driver's Clio 182 Racing Blue

[RS182-Driver]

Hey mates

as I said on my other thread, I'll be soon an RS-driver and now the time has come.

It's a 04 Racing Blue Phase 3 with 80k KM on the clock. Basic RS Equipment (leather seats, aircon, xenon, cruise control etc.)

Before I changed anything on the car I went to a friend of mine, to remove any of the 28 dents on the car!!!!

Mods so far are:

Battery-cover

Scorpion RS 182 Exhaust (not the "pussy" 192) :rasp:

H&R Coilovers with different spring rates

K-TEC Racing Top Mounts

K-TEC rear brace

ATE Super Blue Racing brake-fluid

K-TEC brake-lines

OZ Ultraleggera 7x15

Federal RS-R 595 195/50r15


Future plans:

Front brace

Overhaul the transmission

Respray of front bumper and cup-spoiler

NA-build on a second engine

thought I could give you a little update, since it has been a while..

Installed some new bits!

I orderd a roll cage from Wiechers and fitted the ARB Whiteline on my Clio, which is driven by only a few drivers in Germany. Can't understand why?! Feels great

Made a proper ring-trip in april fastest time was 9.20 BTG, which I think is quite good for the 11th lap ever since.

And on the 1st and 2nd of august I'm back at the ring!!!

Thought I could give you also a little update!

Here on the Sachsenring in August this year. Was the fastest car in my group, among Megane 3 RS, Clio 2 and 3 RS :tongueout:

And the next day on the famous Nordschleife :smile:

Did a 09.06 but had 20 seconds yellow flag and 3 cars blocking me!!


I put it up on sale for fun and if nobody buys it, I'll go full attack mode.

new set of tires, I'm going for the 2nd time with the Federals
overhauling my front dampers and adding some holes for camber adjustment, since now my camber is zero

In Germany that's a phase 3

Clio B Phase 1 RS was the first Clio RS model, then came the 172 Phase 2, and for one year the Phase 3 182 was built.

And racing blue was only available in Germany for the phase 3.

I've learned there are many differencies between German Spec and UK Spec. For example the leather alcantara seats were standard equipment in all Clio B models, whereas in UK there are many Clio RS with fabric seats.
