RS2 inlet fitting

  Radical SR3
So after a moment of madness where I almost bought a road legal radical...I decided to put some extra love into the Clio and bought this excellent kit from James. Fitting has been easy enough and the kit is great.

I have one question though for those who have these and fitted at home. How did you get decent access to the 3 lower bolts to the head at the gearbox end. I have resorted to tight as possible with an allen key as no matter what I try, my socket fouls on the runners. All other bolts are done to 21nm.

Use an allen key is what we did, if you are worried about them working loose then just put some nut lock on them.

IIRC we actually used 2 keys and put a slight bend in one, to make it easier.

I say we, but TBH I was mainly doing other things, it was the mrs doing the hardwork.

That sounds like a quality mrs to me chip. Thanks for the answers guys. I dont think thread lock will be needed.

Should have her running again by the weekend :) another rs2d clio.

Cool stuff :)

I love how they drive on the RS2, and its a pleasant little extra sound on full throttle too.
