rsi/williams question

while over in tenerife two of the staff at the apartments had clios, a delicious williams which he had brought over from england when he was working here years ago and the other guy had an rsi in mint condition, as the williams was right hand drive i had a shifty in it down the motorway up to 150 kph :D

can someone tell me what engine size the rsi is and also did the williams get released in any other countrys other than the uk?

The RSi is a 110bhp 1.8 8v. The Williams was released all over the world. i think about 5000 in all (do a search, its been discussed a few times).

in total there r about 12000 Willys built, 500 of them in a Swiss Champion version(so there are 2 Willys nr 1;))

about the first 400 went to England and theyre numbered as far as i know till approx 3500. ive seen higher numbers, but in each case it was an action of the owners self.

even in Japan they have Willies

i met someone in an rsi outside the carling acadamy in glasgow, after the eddie halliwell haloween party (very good!) and i noticed it had the oil gauges above the heaters, i didnt realise they had them! very similar to a 16v inside
