hey guys fitted my new ktech brake disks and green stuff pads last month. Whilst out the other day i noticed a vibrating sensation coming from the front right whilst under light braking. It doesnt happen all the time but is quite regular. I took the wheel off at the weekend to have a closer look and the brakes look fine. Can anyone help and explain the possible problem. I have a service next week and don't want renualt to try and sell me new pads if i don't need them. Help appreciated

I was going to say, perhaps the caliper is sticking slightly. However you would notice more brake dust on that wheel compared to the other. Is this the case or does the amount of dust look even?

My mate did his mk1 and the actual guide screws that go in the disc were sticking out ever so slightly and were digging in the back of the wheel. This was causing a vibration! So we removed them and it's been fine since.

The brake dust is fine. I took the wheel off and it looked ok. I will just get renault to check on my service but if they try to tell me i need new parts i'll just refit the brakes completely. Because this has only just started almost a month after fitting i presume something is perhaps loose. Oh well ill soon find out. cheers for the help mate.
Probably best. When you get a chance mate, strip it down and start again. Perhaps re-grease all the moving parts and then just check everything is nice and tight and the disc moves freely, pop the wheel back on and away you go.
The disc may be slightly warped if it's juddering under braking as well. Perhaps run your fingers over the surface and see if it feels even.
