Rusty Engine on new car

Was cleaning my 1.2 last night and noticed a load of rust in the engine - straight down at the front, on a silver bit (Im no mechanic as u may tell!)

Is this normal, or can I go and get a freebie from renault as a Sorry sir gift?!
