Sachs front damper gaiters

Hello guys/girls

I am in need of the rubber gaiter for the front sachs shocks x2

I have looked and asked about with no avail :dapprove:

Seem like rocking horse s**t.

Does anyone know something i don't

Thinking about it they won't as the shafts are thicker on the Sachs dampers.

You could measure the length of standard ones, then measure the radius of the piston rod, which is thicker that standard dampers. Then look on the internet for similar ones. Can always get longer ones and chop the ends off.

i haven't i was under the impression when people have asked at bg motorsport that he couldn't get them?! or i maybe completely wrong :S and if i went into the local renault dealership they probably wouldn't even know what i was talking about

my exact thoughts! they have me by the bawlls too. wouldn't want to put the sachs on without them just after coming back from a refurb!

Orrr, do it the pikey way, get standard ones (for cup dampers) and just cut the hole bigger. LOL.

lol! I will wait until after xmas before i do/put the sachs on anyway. £80 for some rubber is crazy!

Double check the measurements of your damper bodies before buying the ones that I have linked as I can't remember the size off the top of my head

you used them for your sach front dampers?

or you have cup dampers?
